emmUcare Home Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides to provide in-home care for clients in Birmingham and surrounding areas. Join a team where care is rooted in support, respect, and meaningful relationships.

We offer day shifts (Mon–Fri), evenings and weekends, with full-time or part-time options. You’ll tailor your schedule to your availability while helping clients with daily living, mobility, and wellness.

Qualifications

• State competency test or CNA license is required.
• Must complete TB test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for client visits.
• Reliable, compassionate, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (hygiene and dressing)
• Assist with incontinence care and mobility
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Run errands and provide transportation as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Document care activities and updates in client records

Responsibilities

Duties vary by client and shift. The tasks listed below are examples and may not be required for every assignment. Care is tailored to each client’s individual needs and care plan.

• Personal care assistance (hygiene and dressing)
• Incontinence care and mobility support
• Companionship and emotional support
• Meal planning and meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Errands and transportation
• Medication reminders
• Care documentation

Qualifications

• Two-step TB test, TSPOT, or chest X-ray
• Completion of state competency test provided by the agency, or a valid CNA license
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
• Valid Driver’s license and the ability to travel for work
