Woodhaven Adult Home, located just 3 miles south of Port Jefferson's waterfront village, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team! As a Home Health Aide at Woodhaven, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing individualized care and support in their homes.

Woodhaven Adult Home is dedicated to resident-centered care with ongoing training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold New York State Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
• Recent physical exam with drug screen, PPD, and Rubella/Rubeola titers.
• Ability to arrive on time with a positive attitude.
• Respectful and dignified interaction with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, medication management).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor changes in resident condition and report them promptly.
• Collaborate with health care professionals to implement care plans.
