Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of Simi Valley is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. We’re dedicated to helping clients enjoy warmth, independence and comfort at home.

Responsibilities include bathing, mobility support, transfers, continence and oral care, plus other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have caring experience, empathy, and strong communication, and meet state Home Health Aide requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving service experience (preferred)
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
• Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
• Must meet State requirements for Home Health Aide training program and competency
