Job summary

BAYADA at Inspira Home Health is currently seeking an experienced Home Health Aide for a full-time or part-time opportunity performing home health visits for our Gloucester County office, located in West Deptford, NJ. This office services clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Gloucester County, NJ.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must have at least one year of work experience, be listed on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry active and in good standing, and pass the BAYADA

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Have a criminal background check completed.
• Meet all state requirements.
• At least one year of work experience in home health caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living.
• Light housekeeping.
• Bathing.
• Grooming.
• Toileting.
• Nail care.
• Range of motion / exercises.
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Oral feeding.
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Assisting with ambulation.
• Medication assistance.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $25.00-$28.00 per visit
