Job summary

NATTINGHAM is seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, following care plans, and building meaningful relationships with those you serve. Strong communication is essential; prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

You will assist with daily activities, maintain records, and engage patients in exercises, with CPR and immunizations considered as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervised caregiving experience or 30 Hour Home Health Aide Certificate (available with us).
• Driver’s license preferred but not required
• CPR certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Give medications and immunizations
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
