Job summary

Parx Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes throughout Florida. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, including daily living activities, medications reminders, meal preparation, and ensuring a clean living space.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of HH Aide experience, a valid HHA certification, and the ability to lift clients safely. A driver’s license and background screening are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides.
• A valid certification as a Home Health Aide.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide.
• Excellent communication and empathy skills with clients and families.
• Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily needs such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Remind and assist with medications, including administration help.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Light household tasks to maintain a safe living environment.
