Preferred Home Care of NY, part of a Help at Home company, is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) to support clients in their own homes. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks with weekly pay starting at $19.65 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and basic cleaning.

• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
• Use of specialized equipment (e.g., Hoyer Lift) as directed.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and assist with basic nursing tasks.

As a Home Health Aides (HHA), you’ll work 1-on-1 with your clients inside their homes, and support them with the following types of activities:

• Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry and basic cleaning
• Personal activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and assisting with meals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the client.
• Use of special equipment (i.e. Hoyer Lift)
• Taking temperature, pulse, and respiration as directed.
• Routine or delegated nursing tasks (i.e. taking temp, pulse, respiration, collect stool or urine specimens, reinforce dressings, empty urinary or ostomy bags etc.)
