Job summary

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is hiring Mixer Operators in Houston, Texas for our plant off Fellows Road. The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Texas CDL - Class A or B and be able to pass an MVR verification.
Must pass a drug screen and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
Able to follow directions from supervisors and management.
Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and early mornings with varying daily schedules.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Abide by all federal, state and local traffic laws.
Perform daily pre/post trip inspections.
Follow all PPE protocols, including proper use, care, and timely replacement.
Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to correct job sites.
Maintain the cleanliness of the ready-mix truck and report any required maintenance.
Promptly report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
