Job summary

Carter Lumber in Ohio is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local jobsites safely and on schedule, using our company-owned fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly customer service.

On-site duties include unloading with a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and placing materials where customers need them. Full-time benefits support growth and a home nightly schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our fleet.
• Unload materials on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place them where customers need them.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
