Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring a Short Haul Tractor Trailer Delivery Driver in the United States. You will operate a 53' tractor-trailer, deliver tires and wheels, and be home every night (Monday - Friday, with no holidays).

This is a salaried role and involves occasional live load deliveries in addition to drop and hook deliveries. Qualifications include a Valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 1+ years experience in the trucking industry.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Insurable to drive by company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 53-foot tractor-trailer to deliver commercial tires, wheels, and other items.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading of inventory and ensuring paperwork is correct.
• Maintain a safe driving record, follow all safety rules/PPE requirements, and conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Accurately track hours, mileage, fuel, repairs, tolls, and expenses using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
• Keep tractor-trailer clean, stocked, and maintained.
• Support warehouse/service staff with tire handling and equipment use.
• Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding schedules, delays, violations, accidents, or breakdowns.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to policies and procedures.
