Position Summary

Seeking a kind, emotionally intelligent, professional veterinarian to provide compassionate in‑home euthanasia services. The ideal candidate works independently, communicates with empathy, and finds fulfillment supporting pet families through end‑of‑life care.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes to provide end‑of‑life veterinary care.
• Offer gentle euthanasia procedures with empathy, sensitivity, and respect.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to pet families – honor the human‑animal bond with every visit.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication with support staff.
• Guide families through a deeply emotional process with grace and reassurance.
• Communicate clearly and kindly before, during, and after the appointment.
• Represent our values with integrity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent and current veterinary license in Florida.
• Professional liability coverage.
• Excellent bedside manner and emotional intelligence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes.
• Experience in palliative care, hospice, or euthanasia preferred (training can be provided).
