Job summary

Continental Home Center is seeking a Delivery Technician to support customers locally with delivery, setup, service, and hands-on product support. The role includes unloading trucks, inspecting and preparing merchandise, and assisting customers in homes.

Training is provided to develop product knowledge and leadership potential, with opportunities for advancement into additional service, sales, account management, and store-management roles.

Qualifications

• Be dependable, professional, and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working inside customer homes.
• Able to safely move, lift, and handle merchandise up to 75 pounds.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn product setup, service, and basic repair procedures.
• Follow safe driving, lifting, loading, and delivery practices.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and clear communication.
• Availablity to work Saturdays and other scheduled hours.
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and receive inventory.
• Inspect, organize, and prepare merchandise for delivery.
• Deliver furniture, appliances, electronics, and other products to customers' homes.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and set up merchandise.
• Explain basic product operation and care to customers.
• Service and repair products when needed.
• Pick up merchandise from customer homes when required.
• Maintain delivery vehicles, tools, warehouse areas, and equipment.
• Assist store employees and customers as needed.
