Ryder System, Inc. in Zeeland, MI is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for a local home-daily route with 45 hours guaranteed each week. Expect weekly pay, a 5:30 PM or 6:00 AM start, and a Sunday–Friday schedule with some overtime.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements, pass a drug test, background check, DOT physical and road test. Ryder offers benefits after 30 days, PTO from day 1, uniforms and boot allowance, and a 401(k) with company match.

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.

Position Description

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly

• Weekly Guarantee $1320 per week

• Hourly Pay: $27.81 Per Hour

• Hours Per Week: Guaranteed 45 hrs weekly

• Schedule: Sunday - Friday, Some Friday Overtime REQUIRED

• Start Time: 5:30 PM or 6:00 AM; must be flexible with start time due to additional route coverage

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

• Pass a DOT physical

• Pass a Ryder road test

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
