Job summary

Mack Industries is seeking an experienced Ready Mix Driver for a full-time, year-round role in Ohio. You will safely deliver concrete to customer job sites, maintain safety standards, and provide excellent service.

This position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including home daily and a strong bonus/benefits package. Starting pay ranges from $25.00 to $33.00 per hour and includes a monthly yardage bonus, attendance bonuses, and an annual safe driver bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DOT & CDL regulations.
• Construction site safety including concrete material handling and basic equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of construction vehicle safety concepts such as vehicle and road weight capacities.

Responsibilities

• Haul and unload ready-mix concrete.
• Assemble concrete chute and attach to the truck.
• Discharge concrete according to contractor specifications.
• Complete daily driver’s vehicle inspection reports and mileage logs.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and document required maintenance.
• Transport materials safely and ensure safety at all times.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety policies.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations.
• Be flexible with schedule/location/shift changes.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
