Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a delivery driver to transport and unload building materials to commercial and residential customers. You will operate with a focus on safety and customer service, delivering on-time and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, use technology (iPads) for order verification, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed, while complying with all safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must maintain valid DOT Medical card for driver requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.
• Able to navigate basic technology including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, including loading/unloading and ensuring delivery tickets are provided.
• Pickup customer returns and validate product matches for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures of the company.
• Assist warehouse personnel with order pulling, receiving, stocking and preparation.
• Work overtime as needed and comply with PPE requirements.
