Job summary

FSR Trucking Inc. in Gastonia, NC is hiring a Local CDL-A Solo Truck Driver to operate a 53-foot tractor-trailer on local routes, home daily, with a typical 40-hour week and semi-monthly pay.

You will follow DOT regulations, maintain logs with Samsara, and deliver dependable service to USPS shipments. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid vacation and holidays, and competitive hourly pay up to 32.13 per hour with a base of 26.77.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with at least 2 consecutive years of tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean Clearinghouse record and no more than 2 tickets or accidents in 2 years.
• Minimum age 21 with valid DOT physical.
• Pass company road test, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53-foot tractor-trailer in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain electronic logs and records using Samsara ELD.
• Deliver professional customer service at all stops.
• Proactively detect, report and minimize safety hazards.
