Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a CDL driver in the United States, Texas area. The role offers home daily with no nights or weekends, with overtime as needed.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with potential OT, and a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with company match. The driver will deliver materials, handle returns, perform vehicle inspections, and assist in warehouse tasks while adhering to DOT requirements and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring delivery ticket matches material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist warehouse with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and receiving/stocking materials.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
