Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time, home daily Class A CDL truck drivers in Illinois. Average earnings around $90,000 annually with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $3,000 annual safety incentive.

Schedule is Friday through Monday with a 2:00 PM start and a $200 Saturday premium. You will deliver grocery freight dock-to-dock, unload and stage products, and remain professional with customers. Home daily and weekly pay is typical.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Current or able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with <=2 moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all laws, regulations and safety rules; attendance is essential.
• Role is safety-sensitive per DOT; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver grocery freight to a major grocery chain; dock-to-dock deliveries with no pallet breakdowns.
• Unload and stage product in designated store areas.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers.
