Job summary

JJ Powell Inc. in Sunbury, PA is hiring a Fuel Delivery Driver to safely deliver heating oil, diesel, gasoline, and kerosene to residential and commercial customers, while upholding excellent customer service and reliability.

You will maintain compliance with DOT/OSHA, complete daily paperwork, and keep vehicle logs up to date. A valid CDL Class B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and Med-Card is preferred; drivers go home daily and join a family-owned team with strong benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Approximately 1 year of relevant driving experience or equivalent education/experience with safety focus.
Valid CDL Class B with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
Active Med-Card and ability to maintain required certifications (DOT/OSHA).

Responsibilities

Safely deliver heating oil, off-road diesel, gasoline, and kerosene to residential and commercial customers following all delivery instructions and loading procedures.
Verify inventory and accuracy against shipping paperwork and Bills of Lading.
Complete daily paperwork including receipts, payments, and cargo documents; maintain logs and records.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle and adhere to safety and company policies.
