Job summary

R+L Carriers in Oakland, CA is seeking a CITY P&D Driver to deliver and pick up freight within the city and return to the terminal daily. The role includes multiple stops, scan equipment usage, and direct customer interaction.

Hourly rate is $36.24/hr with full-time hours, typically Monday–Friday. PTO begins after 90 days and comprehensive benefits, including access to company employee resorts, are offered.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required.
• Good driving record or MVR.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to bend, lift and stoop as needed.

Responsibilities

• City delivery and pickup of freight and return to terminal daily.
• Handle multiple stops per day with scan equipment and customers.
• Complete liftgate deliveries with pallet jack and/or dolly as needed.
