Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking Owner Operators to work home daily from the Jacksonville, FL area. You will operate truck routes to Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville, and the port of Savannah, with Monday to Friday schedules and no forced dispatch.

Qualified drivers must have CDL A, 6+ months of recent tractor trailer experience, and pass a background check and drug screen. This role offers steady work with company support and access to loading, parking, and service resources.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of tractor trailer experience in the last year.
• CDL A required.
• DOT Compliant 2005 or newer tractor.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Pass physical/drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Home Daily.
• Runs to Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville, or the port of Savannah.
• Mon-Fri schedule with home daily routes.
• Intermodal container handling on routes.
• No forced dispatch.
