Job summary

Denver Freightways Express, a sister company of Howard Logistics, is seeking a dependable CDL Class A driver for local LTL work in the Denver metro area. This home-daily role operates a manual day cab and 53-foot trailer throughout surrounding regions.

You will make 3–5 deliveries per day, load/unload with pallet jack and lift gate, and complete DOT and shipping documents. A clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs, and safe driving are required; hazmat endorsement within 3 months is

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record.
Minimum 6 months CDL Class A driving experience.
Ability to operate a manual transmission.
Hazmat endorsement required within 3 months of employment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Make direct-to-store deliveries, typically 3-5 stops per day.
Load and unload freight using a pallet jack and lift gate.
Operate a manual-transmission day cab with a 53-foot trailer.
Complete local pickups and deliveries throughout the Denver metro area.
Complete required DOT, warehouse, and shipping documentation.
Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections.
Follow all company and DOT safety policies and procedures.
Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, warehouse personnel, and team members.
