Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking safety-conscious Class A Linehaul Drivers for a Des Moines run. This night-shift role requires transferring freight to locations on schedule, hooking/unhooking trailers, and maintaining compliant paperwork per DOT and company policies.

Drivers are home daily with weekends off, offering a stable work-life balance. Pre-employment assessment is required; Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are preferred or obtainment is reimbursable.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years; no more than 3 traffic violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer/terminal locations as directed by dispatch.
• Ensure shipping docs are ready for DOT inspection and accompany shipments.
• Operate tractor-trailer over long distances as part of the Des Moines route.
