Job summary

GEX Transport is looking for a CDL Class A intermodal driver to handle home daily routes in California. You will perform container moves, complete pre/post trip inspections, and ensure timely freight delivery.

The role requires a clean MVR, the ability to pass a DOT drug screen, and hazmat may be required. Night shifts run Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, with 1000–1500 miles weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Container Position, complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
