Job summary

Forward Intermodal seeks Class A CDL company drivers to operate local and regional intermodal routes between rail yards and trusted customers from Charlotte, NC. Drivers will run day trips across North Carolina and South Carolina, with some routes extending into Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate local and regional intermodal routes between rail yards and customers.
• Follow a consistent schedule with early start times (approx. 5am) and home daily expectations.
• Predominantly drop & hook freight with most routes staying within NC/SC and occasional intrastate trips into neighboring states.
