Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a CDL A tractor-trailer driver to transport masonry, dry mix, and hardscapes to stores, jobsites, and distribution yards. The role offers consistent work, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required with at least 2 years of CDL experience.
• Safe driving record and valid medical card required.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Able to work in a team and follow dispatch directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes materials to customers.
• Make deliveries safely and on time.
• Assist and supervise loading to ensure correct order and weight.
• Unloading may include operating boom cranes and truck mounted forklifts.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery paperwork per regulations.
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Follow shipments and signatures; coordinate with shipping.
• Operate tractor-trailer per state/federal laws.
• Assess job site and unload cargo safely.
• Inventory and inspect goods against paperwork and condition.
• Report equipment issues, product quality, and traffic problems.
• Other duties as needed.
