Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking an energetic Driver - Hourly to support our Lincoln, NE operations. This role delivers and unloads food products, adhering to DOT regulations, and interacts professionally with customers and vendors.

The position features a Home Daily schedule, a 4-Day work week (Tue–Fri), and 3-day weekends (Sat–Mon) with a 4:00am start time. First year pay ranges from $69k–$75k, including base, overtime, and incentive components, with annual merit increases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills delivery and unloading of food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner according to DOT regulations.
• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally, answering questions accurately and promptly.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and ensures tractor/trailer meet company safety standards and takes action as needed.
• Drives routes as scheduled, loads/unloads cargo, verifies deliveries with customers and collects payments where required.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in legible fashion and maintains daily hours of service records.
• Keeps equipment and trailers clean and secure at all times.
