Job summary

Hoffman Beverage Company in Chesapeake, VA seeks a full-time Delivery Driver to cover end loader and side loader routes when drivers are off. You will train with drivers, deliver beer products, and manage loading/unloading. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and no ELD requirements for short-haul work.

Must be 23+, hold a Virginia CDL-A with medical card, pass DOT and background checks, and lift heavy loads regularly. Benefits include health, PTO, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must hold a Virginia CDL-A license and valid medical card.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record per company/DOT requirements.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and handle up to 165 lbs for keg products.
• Must pass a DOT physical and DOT Road Test.
• Must pass a post-offer criminal and MVR background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Cover end loader and side loader routes when drivers are off.
• Train with drivers to learn procedures at all accounts.
• Deliver to accounts within service windows and ensure proper order verification.
• Handle pallets and cases, stock coolers and displays, and rotate products by date.
• Complete invoicing and collect payment for delivered invoices (no cash).
• Unload damaged goods and return paperwork; maintain trailer cleanliness and safety compliance.
