Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Belly Dump Truck Driver in Marble Falls to transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes to stores and job sites. You will work daily with a focus on safety and timely deliveries.

This full-time role offers steady work and competitive pay with benefits including a 401(k) match and paid vacation. You will perform pre-trip inspections, help load trucks, and maintain accurate delivery records while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL A and at least 2 years of current CDL experience.
• High school diploma / equivalent.
• Valid Medical Card and safe driving record.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse/production environments.

Responsibilities

• Transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes materials to customers.
• Make assigned deliveries safely and timely.
• Assist and supervise loading of truck for proper order and weight distribution.
• Unloading could include operating boom cranes and truck-mounted forklifts.
• Receive instructions from dispatcher and follow them to the letter.
• Maintain records such as driver’s daily truck log, fuel tickets, and delivery documents per regulations.
• Maintain good customer relations and safety practices.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any concerns promptly.
• Operate tractor-trailer in compliance with state and federal laws and company policy.
• Survey job sites and unload cargo safely in the best area available.
• Inspect goods to match paperwork and ensure safe transport.
• Report equipment or safety issues to management promptly.
• Other duties as needed.
