Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support clients in Slidell, Louisiana, delivering personal care at home and assisting with daily living activities. Training is provided, and the role offers flexibility to accommodate varied schedules.

You will work with clients with disabilities or mobility needs, ensuring safety, dignity, and high-quality care while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients with ease.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping.
• Support clients with mobility issues, using assistive devices and adaptive equipment as needed.
• Monitor and report clients' conditions, progress, and concerns to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care services and activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
