Job summary

Visiting Angels of York is hiring caregivers for flexible, part-time roles with possible full-time hours based on demand. A $500 new hire bonus and competitive starting pay are offered, along with a one-on-one care environment in clients' homes across York, PA and nearby areas.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, and ensuring safety during shifts. CNA preferred but not required; background check and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• CNA license preferred but not required
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care
• Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks
• Perform transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed
• Monitor the client for safety and comfort during shifts
• Provide non-medical assistance as assigned

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provide all other non-medical assistance as assigned
