Job summary

Community Horizons in Wisconsin is seeking an overnight caregiver to support a community member in their Melrose home. You will provide 1:1 care during third shift, maintain safety with mobility aids, and offer companionship in a quiet, dog-friendly setting.

Ideal candidates are patient, reliable and comfortable with adaptive equipment; training will be provided for devices like the Hoyer Lift, vent support, and tube feeding.

Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

A community member, whose working with Community Horizons, is looking for overnight care in the comfort of their Melrose, WI home.

If you bring compassionate energy and reliability, you might be a great addition to this team. This member spends his time working from home, on the internet, and spending time with his friendly dog and family. This easy to talk to member uses a Hoyer Lift, adaptive bowel system, trach suction, ventilator, and some tube feeding (along with regular feeding). If you enjoy a quiet space during down times while providing a helping hand, you've found the right place.

SHIFT TASKS

• Using Hoyer Lift to transfer
• Assist with tube feeding and some regular eating/drinking
• Assist with Trach suction for respite care
• Use digital bowel system
• Companionship care
• Other tasks as needed

Pay- $16.32 up to $27.88

PAID TRAINING

Schedule- Every other Thursday-Sunday. Third shift. Shifts are also PRN (as needed) Thursdays 6p - 7a Friday and Saturdays 7p - 7a Sundays 7p 6a.
