Job summary

Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist, RN or LPN to support the Milwaukee area with home care and skilled nursing facility assignments. Roles involve setting up, instructing and supporting high-tech respiratory equipment for elderly patients.

Compensation includes a $35-40 hourly rate, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. This full-time position emphasizes work-life balance while providing critical home respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in respiratory therapy or nursing, preferably in home care.
• Proficient in administering respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Experience with patient assessment, monitoring and documentation.
• Experience with respiratory equipment including ventilators and concentrators.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and instruct on home medical equipment including oxygen concentrators, CPAP/BiPAP and related devices.
• Provide routine equipment maintenance, safety and training to clients.
• Schedule and conduct staff in-services for skilled nursing facilities as requested.
• Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients and staff; assist with troubleshooting equipment.
