Role Description

The Home Care Provider role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fairfield, CA, providing direct in-home support to IHSS recipients. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while respecting each individual’s privacy and preferences. The role also involves helping with household tasks including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry, as well as supporting safe transportation and errands as needed. Home Care Providers monitor clients’ general well-being, communicate changes or concerns to appropriate parties, and follow care guidelines and safety protocols. The position requires reliable attendance, clear communication with clients and supervisors, and adherence to IHSS Public Authority policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Caregiving and Home Care skills, including assisting with daily living activities in a respectful and safe manner.
• Candidates should possess Personal Care and Elder Care skills, with the ability to support hygiene, mobility, and comfort for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
