Job summary

Link Jobs is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support an elderly or disabled client at home in the South Fulton area. You will follow a care plan developed by a registered nurse or licensed therapist and perform health care and homemaker tasks to promote the client’s well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, homemaker duties, and accompanying the client to medical appointments, with emphasis on safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of exam and training provided in our office
• Reliable transportation is required
• Access to a smartphone or data-connected device
• Experience with elderly and disabled population preferred
• Ability to lift 75 pounds

Personal Care Assistant

Responsibilities:

The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for carrying out health care and homemaker tasks, in accordance with the care plan developed by a registered nurse or licensed therapist, to assist an elderly or disabled client. These tasks include assistance with personal care, ambulation and exercise, and household services essential to the well-being of the client. The tasks are performed at the client’s home.

Tasks:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and ambulating
• Assist with homemaker activities including: meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and errands
• Assist with medically related tasks including: medication reminders and accompanying to medical appointments

Requirements:
