Job summary

BJC Home Care seeks aLicensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care in home settings across the North Territory. You will assess, plan, implement and supervise OT services for pediatric and adult patients, collaborating with physicians to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities include patient-family instruction, treatment adaptation, and use of assistive devices, with a schedule supporting a 40-hour work week and Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) required.
• Licensed OT status required (OT Lic).
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures.
• Re-evaluates patient and adapts treatment program accordingly to maximize benefit.
• Instructs and assists patient to perform various occupational therapy activities and use of assistive devices.
• Confers with physician and other practitioners to integrate OT with other aspects of patient care.
