Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Homecare Infusion RN for Bergen/Hudson/Passaic counties. The position offers a Total Rewards package, including comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and travel reimbursement.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent, at least one year of RN experience, and skills in IV insertion. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Certificate in Nursing.
• Minimum of one (1) or more years of RN Experience.
• Ability/Experience with Inserting IVs.
• Competency Requirements:
  • With previous and recent IV experience (preferred) within one (1) year: Demonstration with preceptor inserting peripheral line, accessing ports, PICCs and central lines. Or
  • Without previous experience or experience not within one (1) year: Will complete a vascular access device (VAD) course through HMH and follow up practicum experience in HMH outpatient infusion setting and return demonstration with preceptor inserting peripheral line, accessing ports, PICCs and central lines.
• Successful Completion of Infusion Test within probationary period with grade of 80% or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN).

Licenses and Certifications Required

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
