Job summary

Dignity Care Home Care of Indiana is seeking Homemakers to help clients live safely at home in Indianapolis, IN. This non-licensed role focuses on supportive tasks rather than direct hands-on care.

The Homemaker will assist with housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, errands, and emotional support, reporting changes to supervisors as needed. CPR certification and reliable transportation are required.

• Well-organized and reliable.
• CPR certified.
• Valid driver's license or proof of other mode of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating shopping lists.
• May drive the client to the store or shop for the client.
• Organize groceries and prepare meals according to client restrictions and preferences.
• Assist clients with errands and household tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Conduct visits as scheduled and report health changes to supervisors.
