Job summary

You'll perform basic personal care, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping, while safeguarding client dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• One year of home care or comparable experience is required.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver's license.
• Must have current car insurance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication on schedule.
• Assist with therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist.
• Provide personal care: hair, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Assist with toileting and turn/reposition bedridden clients.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment with light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments.
• Observe and report changes to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
• Monitor for bruises or injuries and report any concerns.
