Job summary

Eminence Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Caregivers with driving capabilities to join our team. You will provide in-home care and assist clients with transportation to medical appointments, social outings, and other needs, ensuring safety and comfort.

This role supports independence and quality of life through personalized daily living assistance, companionship, and emotional support. You will collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to implement tailored care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable vehicle required.
• Previous experience in home care or related caregiving roles is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically able to assist clients with transfers and mobility.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and professionalism.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes promptly.
• Administer medications as directed and comply with established care plans.
• Drive clients safely to medical appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Maintain client transportation logs and ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals about care needs and progress.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
