Messiah Lifeways At Home is hiring a Home Care Assistant to provide personalized, non-medical care in clients’ homes under a Care Plan. You will build meaningful relationships while supporting safety, independence, and comfort for older adults.

The role offers flexible part-time scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team focused on compassionate care.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Travel to client’s homes throughout the Messiah Lifeways Community.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, including the use of mechanical lifts when properly trained.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Identify and report safety concerns within the home.
• Complete client documentation and visiting notes at the end of each shift.
• Participate in care team meetings as needed.
• Provide compassionate companionship while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll build meaningful relationships while providing personalized, one-on-one care in clients’ homes. Every day offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships that make a lasting difference every day.

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll travel to clients' homes to provide personalized, non-medical care based on each individual's Care Plan.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Traveling to client’s homes throughout the Messiah Lifeways Community
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, including the use of mechanical lifts when properly trained
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Identifying and reporting safety concerns within the home
• Completing client documentation and visiting notes at the end of each shift
• Participating in care team meetings as needed
• Providing compassionate companionship while promoting each client's dignity, independence, and well-being
• Following all policies, procedures, and safe work practices

Flexible Scheduling Options

Our Home Care Assistants provide care when our clients need it most.

Available Part-time Shifts Include The Following Schedules

• 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• 5:30 AM - 10:30 AM

To Include The Following Scheduling Details

• Minimum of 16 hours per pay period
• 8 weekend hours per month
• 4 holiday hours every other holiday

• Reliable transportation with active auto insurance
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous home care or caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate!
