Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking part-time in-home assessors to evaluate elderly clients in the Albuquerque, NM area, within a two-hour drive. Assessments occur at the client’s home and take about 30 minutes.

Compensation is $40/hour with travel time paid at the same rate. Flexible hours from 8am–8pm, weekends possible; background check and TB skin test required; start date soon.

• Conduct in-home assessments of elderly clients in their own homes.
• Ask a few questions about non-medical care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping).
• Complete assessments within 7 calendar days of notification.

Job description

We are a home care agency that has been in business since 2007 and in need of a person to perform in-home assessments of elderly clients in the Albuquerque, NM area (clients located within a 2 hour drive of Albuquerque, NM). $40/hour.

The assessment consists of talking to the client in person at their home - and asking a few questions about their non-medical care needs (i.e. Bathing, dressing, grooming, light house cleaning, etc).

The assessments take 30 minutes. We will perform a background check. Job starts soon.

• Travel time is paid from the person's home and back at $40/hour.
• Flexible schedule. Can work anytime from 8am to 8pm Monday through Sunday.
• Weekends only is acceptable.
• Great part time job for extra money on the side of your regular job.

We just started a contract with a large referral source so there is not a big need right now - but as we get more clients in the program the need will grow. When we have need of an assessment we will reach out and you would need to get the assessment completed within 7 calendar days of getting notified of the new assessment.

Must get a TB (Tuberculosis) skin test if not had one recently. You can go to your local County Health Department and walk in to get a skin TB Test. Just provide your ID and tell them it is for employment. It costs $25. You will return 48-72 hours later to have it checked.
