Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist an elderly male Veteran in Sandwich, IL, helping with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to maintain independence at home.

This long-term position offers 13 hours per week with a flexible schedule, paid at 25 per hour (21 base + 4 bonus) if all shifts are completed. Experience as a caregiver is required; training is available for job specifics.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• Background check will be performed.
• TB test required; cost $25 and reimbursement of $75 with receipt on first paycheck.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to help the client stay independent at home.
• Support daily activities and safety in the home.
• Follow the agreed schedule and communicate any changes promptly.
