Job summary

Help at Home is hiring a Home Care Aide to support seniors in their own homes, providing light housekeeping, personal care, errands, and companionship to help clients stay independent and comfortable.

No formal experience required, but a HS diploma or GED is preferred. A valid driver’s license and insured transportation are required; CNA certification is encouraged. Training is provided to meet state requirements and ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or at least 1 year of caregiver experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured transportation.
• CNA certification encouraged but not required.
• Commitment to professional development and state-mandated training.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and basic cleaning.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, meals, and personal care as needed.
• Run errands, accompany clients to appointments, and provide companionship.
