Job summary

Ambercare is hiring Home Care Aides (HCAs) in Bernalillo, NM and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, with opportunities to advance to a Certified Nurse Assistant through the Ambercare Caregiver to CNA Program.

You will assist clients with personal care, activities of daily living, and light household tasks, while providing companionship and promoting a healthy lifestyle in a home setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation and organized work style.
• Energetic, self-motivated and dependable team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care for clients in their homes.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep assistance.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands.
• Provide companionship and encourage healthy lifestyle.
