Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking empathetic caregivers to support Medicaid clients as paid family/friend caregivers. Choose your own hours: days, evenings, weekends, with daily pay available for select positions.

As a caregiver you will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and meal prep. Requirements include a background check, HS diploma or GED, reliable transportation, reliability, energy, organization, and two references.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a HS Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Two references (1 professional, 1 personal).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care.
• Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation.
• Transport client to appointments and daily errands.
