Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring immediately for Home Care Aides in Illinois. This entry-level role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours with a starting wage of $18.75 per hour and travel reimbursement.

You will assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments and errands. Eligible employees may receive health insurance through the SEIU Home Care Fund and access a 6-month employer retirement plan; benefits vary by tenure and hours worked.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Two references (1 professional, 1 personal).

Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregiver Qualifications

• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a H.S. Diploma or G.E.D
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
• 2 references (1 professional, 1 personal)

Eligible employees and their dependents will be offered health insurance coverage through The SEIU Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund (the "Fund") including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are also eligible to enroll in employer sponsored retirement plan after 6 months of service (21 years of age). Accrued paid time off (up to 75 hours per year based on tenure), as well as paid holidays (see holiday schedule) for employees who have worked at least 1 year with company, and work 30 hours per week.
