Addus HomeCare is hiring immediately for Home Care Aides in an entry-level role with flexible full-time or part-time hours to fit your needs.

Starting wage is $18.75/HR plus travel reimbursement, with daily pay available for select positions. Benefits include health insurance through SEIU Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund, retirement plan eligibility after 6 months, paid time off up to 75 hours per year, and paid holidays for long-tenured staff working 30 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Background check is required.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Two references (one professional, one personal) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care.
• Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation assistance.
• Transport client to appointments and daily errands.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregiver Qualifications

• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a H.S. Diploma or G.E.D
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
• 2 references (1 professional, 1 personal)

Eligible employees and their dependents will be offered health insurance coverage through The SEIU Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund (the "Fund") including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are also eligible to enroll in employer sponsored retirement plan after 6 months of service (21 years of age). Accrued paid time off (up to 75 hours per year based on tenure), as well as paid holidays (see holiday schedule) for employees who have worked at least 1 year with company, and work 30 hours per week.
