Home Helpers of the Northern Shenandoah Valley is seeking a Home Care Aide in Front Royal, VA to assist seniors and individuals in need at home. You will provide non-medical care, help with daily living activities, and support independence in a comfortable home setting.

This role offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, and PRN), competitive pay, comprehensive training, and a supportive team focused on making life easier for clients and families.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the home care industry or related field.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-medical care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Support clients with medication reminders and appointment scheduling.
• Engage in conversations, play games, and participate in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and communication with family members and healthcare professionals.
