Job summary

Brookdale at Home is seeking dedicated private duty caregivers to provide compassionate companionship and non-medical hands-on care for seniors. Positions are available full-time, part-time or PRN within Brookdale Senior Living Communities.

You will support residents with daily living activities, assist with personal care, and help maintain a safe, respectful home environment. The role may require travel to client homes and facilities as needed.

• Provide one‑on‑one companionship.
• Assist with non‑medical hands‑on care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal hygiene and transfers.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Care for pets.
• Transportation to medical appointments and errands.
• Offer medication reminders.

Qualifications

• Provide direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence.
• Treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• Nurture a home‑like setting and assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and personal care.
• Help with light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
